The piano lab is open every day before and after school for your convenience.
VC -
Apples - Bananas - Kumquats
Your final piano test will be worth 50 pts. I hope we'll have time to perform "Jingle Bells". If not, you'll play your favorite piece from the semester.
I will ask questions about melodic and harmonic intervals.
Carrots -
Your final piano test will be your progress on your assigned repertoire. One way to guarantee your 50 pts. is to play on the recital.
Chamber -
Your final piano test will be worth 50 pts. You will be graded according to your progress on your assigned repertoire. You are guaranteed 50 pts. if you are able to play on the recital .

Final - Please be able to identify all intervals from m2 to P8. Key signatures and relative minors will be included. We will make our own review sheet.

Be early - It's at least 45 minutes from Marietta - allow an hour (there's usually some construction going on)

VC - Please continue playing and singing your vocal scales. Everyone should know major, minor and chromatic by the beginning of next week.
Chamber- Great job on the "inversions test". I hope that our discussions have helped you understand the cadence pattern better.
Ponder this vocabulary: primary chords, inversions, chord progressions, tonic, sub-dominant, dominant.
Chamber - your major scales are due Oct 11th.
